Ordered for delivery and it was amazing. Honestly one of the best small locally owned sushi spots. Their salmon is incredibly fresh and all rolls were delicious. Tightly wrapped. Good amount of fish. This is my go to sushi spot. 🙌🏼

Fresh Sashimi, excellent Tempura and deep fried Tofu in one Bento Box. I also like the salad. The test of the dressing was just right.
We ordered the dragon eye Sushi. It was a fried sushi. I don’t like deep fried sushi. However, this is a good one. I LIKE it, The rice still had the rice texture. Not too many (dressing)with the Roll. Well Done, SakaNa!
Got this from skip and it was great. The fish was fresh, our rolls were flavorful and amazing. The presentation was impeccable. The only downside was that my fried items were a little greasy; but that could have been from sitting and travel.
I’ve eaten at almost every sushi spot in YEG, and Sakana is by far my favourite. Their food is fresh, high quality, delicious, and very affordable considering how much they give you! I’d order from them every night if I could

In my opinion the best sushi you can get in Edmonton. The fish is always fresh and consistent. And being so far away from the ocean, that is a good thing! Love the staff there, and is always a pleasure to visit! Edit: They have an updated menu, with more cooked kitchen items. They are all amazing as well!
I ordered the lunch special. I had the rainbow roll and the salmon maki and ordered tobiko sushi as well. It was good. Prices are great. I would go back again.

Amazing. We were looking for a sushi place that we hadn't been, that was south,open later and got good reviews. It was so good and the service top notch. Very friendly. We had sashimi and it was very fresh..no fishy taste at all. We tried octopus balls and a Japanese calamari...also very nice. The rolls were perfect and so flavorful. Its hard to pick a favorite but i think it was the dragon roll and sakana roll. Top notch ..we will be back
Always great food with a charming atmosphere
Sakana is made for you if you're looking for a casual-quiet-friendly and delicious place while you're gone for groceries. The staff is really nice, the service fast and the price reasonable. Was full with a $13 udon. I'd definitely go back for the other dishes that seem promising.
The food is amazing. I really enjoy the food every time. The waiting staff are awesome and so is the sushi chef.

My favourite sushi place in Edmonton! The owners are friendly and the food is always delicious. I cannot wait until they are open for dine in again as I love sitting down and eating here. For now, takeout will do.
The sushi is so fresh, udon soup broth was amazing and the service was on point. Dishes were brought out with perfect timing, definitely one of the best Japanese restraunts in Edmonton. Also a really good place if you like sashimi.
